How Resetting or Deleting a BIOS or CMOS Password

BIOS password is added to further secure the computer . With our password can prevent others set the BIOS or even prevent the computer from booting . Although rare or very few people do this . But what if the password has been determined then we forget the password? Of course this is very annoying is not it? But you need not worry , because there are many ways to research / remove / bypass the BIOS password . Using the software can or using methods such as the following can also be .

Some of the ways that we can use are as follows :

  1. Removing the CMOS battery ; This method is easy to do . We just need to remove the BIOS battery and then put it back.
  2. Jumper motherboard ; see the instructions on the motherboard where the position of  the jumper to clear CMOS . Here we only move the position of the jumper on the pins that have been provided and later returned to its original position . Just as moving jumpers ( master / slave ) . More details, read "manual book " motherboard .
  3. MS DOS command ; use the command line :

            DEBUG
O 70 2E
O 71 FF
QUIT

-   Using software : for example KillCMOS , CmosPwd , De - CMOS . You just run the
     software and follow the process .
-   Using Backdoor BIOS password;

SOME PRODUCERS embed BIOS backdoor BIOS PASSWORD , WHICH WE WILL NOT EVEN terganti INSTALLING PASSWORD IS OURS . THIS IS MASTER PASSWORD IS USED FOR THE PURPOSE OF TESTING AND TROUBLESHOOTING ( RESOLUTION ) .

Complete List to Sign BIOS Keyboard Keys

The information below is a summary of the keyboard buttons that can be used to access or enter the BIOS from all major suppliers BIOS chip and computer manufacturers that use it.

This article is made to complement our article on how to install or re-install, for example: how to install Windows 8.1. One of the important steps (although not necessarily) to install Windows is accessing the BIOS (which stands for Basic Input Output System) or enter the BIOS environment. The goal is to choose the media that will be used to boot.

One of the keys on the keyboard are used to access the BIOS, for example F2. Different BIOS chip suppliers usually use different keyboard keys to enter the BIOS.

Sign BIOS is not difficult. How to enter BIOS is generally the same, namely to press the F2 key on the keyboard when the computer is just lit up. Usually the tone will sound, beep though not always. So, when the computer is booting, BIOS supplier will be displayed. If an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) logo screen is displayed, press the ESC key to see the boot up information.
