How to Enable Aero Lite Theme Windows 10

I was quite satisfied with the default theme Windows 10 and maybe you , too . Did you know that there is still a theme (theme ) a hidden secret ? Same with Windows 8 , the latest OS Windows 10 ( including build 9926 ) also has a hidden themes namely Aero Lite . You can enable it by making a few changes to the original theme " aero " with Notepad . Applying Aero Lite theme will change the look of the Windows taskbar and also an Explorer window .

Later after applying the theme Aero Lite , the taskbar will be opaque , window frames ( window ) will have a clearer border while the other views on the overall OS remains the same . You're curious to try the Lite Aero theme in Windows 10 ? Here are the steps to enable the Aero theme Lite on Windows 10 ( this tutorial is based on Windows 10 Technical Preview build 9926 ) :

1. Open the following folder in File Explorer :

 

   C:\Windows\Resources\Themes

2. Copy the file to the Desktop Aero.theme .

3. Rename the file becomes AeroLite.theme .

4. Run Notepad and drag files AeroLite.theme into the Notepad window that

    you have open .

5. Change the following things :

- In section [ Theme]

Change this line of code

[Theme]

; Windows - IDS_THEME_DISPLAYNAME_AERO

DisplayName=@%SystemRoot%\System32\themeui.dll,-2013

SetLogonBackground=0

Into

[Theme]

Displayname=Aero Lite

- In section [ VisualStyles ]

Change this line of code ( second row only )

[VisualStyles]

Path=%ResourceDir%\Themes\Aero\Aero.msstyles

ColorStyle=NormalColor

Size=NormalSize

ColorizationColor=0x6B74B8FC

Transparency=1

Into

[VisualStyles]

Path=%ResourceDir%\Themes\Aero\AeroLite.msstyles

6. Save the file and double-click the file from the Desktop to implement it .
